Have you ever wondered how elements of magic and woo-woo impact us at different ages in our lives? Well, wonder no more, as we're tackling the topic of "Woo-woo across the ages"! This is a series that we will dive into periodically in the months ahead.
As part of this series, we will look at how magic and woo-woo starts for many of us at an early age (for example, through Santa, Disney movies, etc.) and continues in different ways across our lifetime.
This week we are focusing on the age range of 0 to 11.
If you have any thoughts on woo woo across the ages, share with us on our instagram at butfirstletswoo, or through our website at butfirstletswoo.com.

It’s the spooky season and on today’s episode we’re talking about a Victorian seance reenactment that we recently attended.
Did we conjure anyone….no!
Did we see any real at tree magic…no!
But did we have a good time and peek behind the seance curtain of illusion…absolutely!
If this has peaked your interest, keep listening.
As always we love hearing from you!
If you have any questions or comments you want to share about seances or seance re-enactments, please share them to our at butfirstletswoo, or through our website at butfirstletswoo.com.

At first glance, there are some tarot cards that can seem to have almost indistinguishable meanings, so similar in fact, that they seem like twins! Today, we’ve each selected 3 pairs of twinning tarot cards that we find can be difficult to distinguish during readings. Come along with us as we dive deep into the meanings and interpretations of these cards to help identify the individual nuances.
For decks, Tabitha used the Modern Love Tarot and chose the following card pairs:
2 of Pentacles and Temperance
Empress and Queen of Pentacles
The Lovers and the 2 of Cups
And Willow used both the Seventh Sphere and the Modern Witch Tarot decks and chose the following card pairs:
High Priestess and the Hierophant (sometimes called the High Priest)
Judgement and Justice
Wheel of fortune and the World
As always we love hearing from you!
If there are any twinning tarot cards that you find have similar meanings that we didn’t cover, share with us on our instagram at butfirstletswoo, or through our website at butfirstletswoo.com.

We’re having so much fun doing this podcast, and one of the most amazing things about it, is you, our listeners! As you’ve been listening to our original stories, our thoughts on everything woo woo, and our introduction to tarot, we’ve loved hearing from you - especially your questions!
And, since you asked - we’re taking time today to answer.
Did we answer your question? Here’s what we cover!
What is Tarot?
Will you be covering more than Tarot? (YES! We have so many topics we want to cover. Everything from reading tea leaves, to book reviews to ghost stories. The sky is the limit!)
Have you ever gotten a negative reaction when people learn that you are into tarot and all things woo?
Have you ever pulled a card and your first thought is to reshuffle the deck and try again? And if you did, was the second card better or worse than what you originally pulled.
Love the podcast! What are you doing to improve the sound quality? (Practice! Practice! Practice!)
Is this podcast going to be based on research or personal opinions?
Why do you not use your names in the podcast? (We do! Listen to find out!)
What does woo woo or woo mean?
Have a question that we didn’t cover? Let us know your comments or questions on our instagram at butfirstletswoo, or through our website at butfirstletswoo.com.

Spoiler alert!
Today we’re doing our first movie review! Since we’ve been tackling all things Tarot the past few episodes, we couldn’t resist reviewing the latest movie called - you guessed it - Tarot.
Tarot is a horror movie that was released to theatres in May of 2024. While it’s rated PG-13, there is a lot of gore and adult themes, so viewer beware.
What’s the movie about?
Well, when a group of friends recklessly violates the sacred rule of tarot readings, they unknowingly unleash an unspeakable evil trapped within the cursed cards. One by one, they come face to face with fate and end up in a race against death.
Ok - with that said, get your popcorn and dim the lights. This one is going to be spooky.
…oh…and, as always, don’t forget to like, subscribe and leave a review.

Have you ever had something ordinary happen, that turned out in the long run, to be rather extraordinary? Today we want to talk about the seemingly everyday events that happen in our lives, where there almost seemed to be a little bit of woo-woo guiding us, as those tiny events ended up being critical to overcoming something larger. It’s almost like extraordinary moments come from a series of very ordinary events.
